Edinburgh Peer Collective Advocacy – Peer Forum

Peer workers and volunteers are invited to attend the Peer Forum in Edinburgh to meet other peers and make a change to how peers work and volunteer!

Date: Thursday 25th January 2024

Time: 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Place: Starbucks Coffee, 120 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 4AD

Who it’s for: people who work or volunteer in a peer role; using their own experience of mental health issues to support others who are going through a similar situation.

Collective advocacy brings people together who share common issues to raise awareness, campaign and influence service provision. Come to meet other peers and make a change to how peers work and volunteer!

What is a peer?

Peers use their own lived experience of mental health issues to support someone who is going through a similar situation. They can be paid or unpaid.
