Earlier this year, a team from CAPS took part in a national ‘art relay’, where artworks were passed throughout Scotland from one art group to another, and then each group made their own.
The CAPS team made ‘Speakerphone’, an artwork in the form of a giant scroll, where anyone with experience of mental health issues could say what they wanted.
The relay was organised by ITAC and many of the artworks were on show at the Scottish Parliament lobby as part of Healing Arts Scotland Week 19-26 August 2024.
The photo above shows the group at the Scottish Parliament with their art work.
The work is now on the ITAC website, scroll down to strand 5 to see the work done by CAPS.
